Human-wildlife coexistence
WHAT WE DO
Educational Workshops and Training
Regular sessions focused on environmental conservation, sustainable agriculture, and alternative livelihoods, equipping community members with essential knowledge, tools and skills.
Sustainable Fishery Management
Our Jipe Tilapia Conservation Project protects the critically endangered Jipe Tilapia through sustainable fishing practices, regulation, and conservation of aquatic ecosystems.
Alternative Livelihood Programs
We promote permaculture, briquette production, and beekeeping to reduce pressure on natural resources and provide economic opportunities, helping diversify income sources for women and youth Self Help Groups.
Human-Wildlife Coexistence
Implementing innovative solutions like chilli blocks and barriers to reduce crop raids, ensuring the safety of both humans and elephants and promoting coexistence.
Advocacy and Community Engagement
Engaging with local communities, stakeholders, and government bodies to advocate for policies and practices that support environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Research and Publications
Conducting and sharing research on environmental and conservation topics to inform and inspire action within the wider conservation community.
